I love eating while watching TV, but I don’t like struggling with my plate or making a mess. That is usually what happens if I balance my plate on my lap, especially if I have to use a knife. That’s why if I have anything that is more than a snack, I bring out my TV table. It may not be the sturdiest thing in the world, but it does the job fine. Then I fold it up and store it away.

Lightweight folding tables
There is a basic advantage to a table that folds up, and that is that it can be stored away during those periods when it is not needed. But since this table will be carried in and out of its storage space, it behooves us to get one that will be easy to carry. Look for models that are made from lightweight materials such as aluminum. You may also want to find one that has a handle incorporated in its design.

Rectangular folding tables
There are so many uses for folding tables, that it makes a lot of sense to own one. They can be used for parties, or as a temporary desk, or even as patio furniture, depending on the materials it is made of. They can even be used as permanent furniture if the rather functional look of them is not an issue for you. They are available in several different sizes and shapes.
