Brown Onesies for Adults

If you are planning to lounge around on a cold winter night, you could wear regular pajamas, but for the ultimate in comfort, a soft onesie simply can’t be beat. Put it on, and it seems to instantly give you a cozy all over, secure feeling. Some onesies even have hoodies, so that even your head can be covered, for that total cocoon-like experience.

Here are a couple of examples that I think look especially comfy:

Technically, a onesie is “footed” – meaning that the socks are part of the garment. But one-piece long johns and union suits – which are not “footed” – are often referred to as onesies as well. Onesies are not necessarily meant to be worn as underwear, but rather as loungewear or pajamas.
More examples… These I find a little too goofy:

Brown is a color we associate with softness and cuddliness, perhaps because it is the color of teddy bears. Of course, onesies are cozy to wear no matter what color they are, as long as they are made of a fabric that feels soft against the skin. Fleece for example can be very soft, and so can cotton, depending on its quality. Some “fuzzy” fabrics sometimes “shed”, especially in the dryer, so you should make sure this is not a problem with the PJ’s you intend to buy. Also check for the placement of buttons and zippers that could get in the way of your total comfort: big buttons on models with butt flaps for example may be uncomfortable to sit on, depending on where they are placed. Metal zippers can also be cold and uncomfortable against the skin. If you intend to get a model with a hood make sure that when the hood is off, it doesn’t bunch up behind your neck too much when you are sitting down or lying down, or when your head is resting on a pillow. If the model you want is footed, make sure the feet are not too big, if so they could have a tendency to fold over at the toes, or slide around too much, and generally make it uncomfortable to walk.
