If you are like me, when you think of cargo pants, colors like beige and khaki come to mind. But these types of pants, like any other, come in a wide variety of colors, including navy blue. It’s a nice, masculine color that is neutral enough to pair with many others without the risk of clashing. Cargo pants usually feature extra pockets lower on the legs, so they are ideal for traveling, or for any casual activity.

Here are three examples – the first two are a bit plain, but I like the cut of the third one:

Generally, men seem to go for navy and black when it comes to their first suits. But if you already own suits in these two colors and are in the market for another suit, you may want to consider going for brown. Although some would say that dark brown hasn’t really come back in fashion since the seventies, the same is not necessarily true of the lighter shades of brown.

Arguably, jeans look their best once they are worn-in for a while. Jean makers know this, and so they make pants that have that worn look. If you like the look of ripped denim, you can purchase jeans that are pre-cut-up, that way you won’t have to wait years to have that cool look. Be aware that it is possible that these types of jeans may not last as long as regular ones, which can last for many years.

The pre-ripped look doesn’t always work. For example the model on the left doesn’t look so good if you ask me:
