When working on construction and renovation projects, one often needs to have a work surface nearby. Some will build a basic temporary table, but not every job warrants that much effort, and there is something very practical about a table that can be folded and stored away. With this in mind, consider a folding work table – a simple and quick solution.

24 Inch wide storage cabinet
If you are searching for a cabinet of a specific width or depth, it’s because you already know where it will be placed and how much room can be dedicated to it. Another thing you should look into though, is whether there will be enough room for the doors of the cabinet to open fully, without banging into a wall or another piece of furniture. Also consider the height of the unit, and whether it is likely to look too imposing in the space it will occupy.
Here are two examples – a bit dull-looking if you ask me, but I’m sure they do the job:

Zig zag corner wall shelf
Corner shelving comes in several different forms. The one that arguably uses space most efficiently is a shelf that is mounted on the wall, leaving the floor under it free. Of course it means that you will have to mount the shelf, but this should be relatively easy. A fun and original style of shelf is the zig-zag type. The backing for every tier alternates from the left to the right wall, resulting in a funky look that a traditional shelf just can’t match.
Love these – I want one!

One of the effects of such a shelf on your room’s decor is that it will break up what might be very regular straight lines.
