Some people don’t think that camping and comfort can go hand in hand. But they’d be surprised to know that there are camping hammocks that fold up for easy transport. If you’ve ever rested on a hammock, you know how wonderful it is, no matter if you are taking a snooze or relaxing with a cool drink. It goes to show that you can go camping and still indulge in relaxation, serenity, and yes, comfort.

I’d love to have one of these… or any hammock for that matter:

For small get-togethers in the backyard, it can be quite handy to have a canopy tent set up. It is a good idea to put food and beverages in a shaded area, so as to keep them cooler and fresher than they would be under the hot sun, and a small tent provides that shade. It is also an inviting area for guests to gather, and since they come in all sorts of colors, they can match the color scheme of the party, if there is one.

Here’s a nice one – I like the pointed top:

Adirondack chairs have been around for years. It is a classic design that has never fallen out of style. But of course, they are not all white or brown – people  paint them all sorts of colors, including all sorts of shades of pink. If you like to mix traditional furniture design with a modern twist, then a colorful Adirondack chair could be a stylish addition to your garden, deck, or patio. One that is practical as well.

Four examples – I wouldn’t go for pink lawn furniture myself, but maybe I’m just too conservative when it comes to outdoor decor:
