If you don’t have a bar in your home, why would you get barstools? Bar stools are not just for bars, they are for kitchen islands or counters as well. If you are in the market for some stools, you should decide on whether you want them with backs, with arms, or just as simple seats such as the type you would see in a diner. Other choices you will have to make is whether you will go with a four-leg or single-leg model, whether the seat should rotate or not, and whether it should be upholstered.
