A peacoat is perfect for those brisk fall days, and depending on where you live, it can also be suitable for winter. In terms of warmth, peacoats are somewhere between a winter coat and a thick jacket. There will always be several models available in that classic peacoat cut, but several designers have modernized the look with sharper, tighter and more contemporary lines.
I actually had a hard time trying to find light blue pea coats to show you. Here are the lightest I could find. Not exactly baby blue, but compared to the usual dark navy blue that these coats come in, I guess these could qualify as “light”:

The traditional colors for these coats are dark blue and black. In fact the blue ones can be so dark that they look black. However, lately, designers seem more open to making them in lighter, brighter colors. Pea coats are usually made of wool, a synthetic fabric, or a blend of the two.
